OUR MISSION is to provide rest, renewal, and re-creation to families experiencing serious, life-altering illness or loss of a child by incorporating nature, art, spirituality, and Southern Appalachian experiences to enhance resiliency, empowerment, self-determination, and hope.
At the Still Place, we create a space where all families affected by serious, life-altering illnesses can experience freedom from daily burdens and enjoy time together as a family.
The Still Place offers rest, renewal, and re-creation to families with children affected by serious illness or loss. By incorporating nature, art, spirituality, and Appalachian Mountain experiences into our family retreats, we are able to enhance the resiliency, empowerment, self-determination, and hope of each family member. The Still Place is located in Hayesville, North Carolina.
The Still Place provides, without charge, a unique retreat for each family, one family at a time. A Still Place retreat allows the family to enjoy special times spent together creating memories.
