The Still Place offers rest, renewal and re-creation to families with children affected by serious illness. By incorporating nature, art, spirituality and Appalachian Mountain experiences into our family retreats we are able to enhance the resiliency, empowerment and self-determination of each family member. The Still Place is located in Hayesville, North Carolina.
The Still Place provides, without charge, a unique retreat for each family, one family at a time. At The Still Place we offer an atmosphere where the entire family can experience freedom from the daily burdens of serious illness. The Still Place retreat allows the family to enjoy special times spent together creating memories.
