At the Still Place we create a space where all families affected by serious life-altering illnesses can experience freedom from daily burdens and enjoy time together as a family.
The Still Place offers rest, renewal and re-creation to families with children affected by serious illness. By incorporating nature, art, spirituality and Appalachian Mountain experiences into our family retreats we are able to enhance the resiliency, empowerment and self-determination of each family member. The Still Place is located in Hayesville, North Carolina.
The Still Place provides, without charge, a unique retreat for each family, one family at a time. A Still Place retreat allows the family to enjoy special times spent together creating memories.
