Loss and Remembrance during the Holiday Season
The Holiday Season is filled with joy, parties, sparkle and excitement but for most of us it is also a reminder of our loved ones who are no longer with us and the memories we shared with them. I remember a few years ago when my Aunt Nellie died. A Ukrainian priest at her funeral chanted, “May her memory be eternal.” I thought that would be amazing and wonderful for our memory of this sweet woman to be eternal. Please join us for a night of remembering our loved ones, sharing stories of loss, love and wonder. Bring a special story, a memory or a memento and let us light a candle and make the memory of our loved ones…the joys, the sorrows, the love…eternal. Where: Meet at The Still Place (we will then go to Dawn and Craig’s Home on Julie Mountain) When: Tuesday, December 20th at 6:30 PM Light refreshments will be served.
